About Me

I am a Research Engineer working at BCAI in the field of Validation and Verification. This involves understanding the bounds of machine learning models and testing the validity of implementations within their scope of application. My background is in the field of experimental particle physics. I received my PhD from Heidelberg University where I searched for Dark Matter in collision data using multivariate analysis techniques. Before joining BCAI I continued my work at Heidelberg University as a postdoctoral researcher, where I studied event classifications using machine learning models in the context of measuring electroweak quartic gauge couplings.

My Research Fields

  • (Robust) Deep Learning
  • Generative Models
