About Me

I joined Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence as a Research Engineer, focusing largely on explainable AI, in particular explainable deep learning. My background is in computer science, having received a Bachelors of Science from the University of Freiburg. I continued to pursue a Masters of Science in Software Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. I later spent a year abroad at MIT working on machine learning applications and theory for automotive human factors. My first role in industry was with Jaguar Land Rover Advanced Research in the U.K., as part of which I was involved with machine learning analytics development at Land Rover BAR, the British challenger for the 35th America's Cup for over two years. I am keenly interested by all aspects of AI, especially any interesting out-of-the-box applications that add value and create something new.
