About Me

I am a PhD student in the area of Natural Language Processing at the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence (BCAI). My research interests include computational syntax and semantics as well as the integration of machine learning and rule-based techniques for NLP, and I am currently researching dependency-parsing based methods for open information extraction from scientific writing. Before joining the BCAI, I obtained a Bachelors degree in Computational Linguistics at Saarland University and a Masters degree in Informatics at the University of Edinburgh.

My research interests include Natural Language Processing, Computational Syntax and Semantics and the Integration of rule-based Systems and Machine Learning for NLP.
