About Me
I am a Research Scientist at the BCAI, focusing on Transfer Learning for Bayesian Optimization and Reinforcement Learning. Before joining Bosch, I received my PhD in mathematics from Goethe University in Frankfurt. Here I worked at the intersection of probabilistic combinatorics and statistical physics, particularly the physics of disordered systems. In addition, I was working on the rigorous understanding of information-theoretic phase transitions in statistical inference problems.
My Research Fields
- Gaussian Processes
- Bayesian Optimization
