I joined Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence as a Research Scientist in 2018. Before joining BCAI, I was the team leader of the "Learning and Intereaction group" at the deparment of advanced robotics of the (IIT), where I previously held a postdoctoral position. I obtained a BSc. on Mechatronics Engineering from the in Bogota, Colombia, a MSc. on Automatic Control and Robotics and a PhD. on Robotics and AI from the Polytechnic in Barcelona, Spain. I carried out my PhD research at the (IRI). My research aims at endowing robots with learning capabilities to develop sophisticated motion skills and collaborative behaviors. To do so, I investigate imitation and reinforcement learning techniques that exploit multimodal sensory data and interactions with humans and the environment.
